HOW IT ALL BEGAN

A brief history of Art Dynamics Cebu

A speech and talent development entity, Art Dynamics Cebu (ADC) was coined and established in 2006 by Cebuana communications guru Rudynah Entera Capone, fondly known as Dynah or Miss D. It started out offering summer workshops in public speaking, vocal music, dance and modeling but eventually conducted year-round weekend sessions that led to the creation of Personality Development Avenue (PDA).

Miss D shares her vision of “developing the young to become confident individuals”. She takes pride in having produced PDA graduates who later became TV actors, pageant winners, professional models, stage performers, and school achievers.

After Miss D established Art Dynamics Cebu in early 2006, she started offering summer workshops only. Due to public demand, the workshops turned into year-round weekend offerings which led to the creation of Personality Development Avenue (PDA). PDA ran for six seasons until February 2009, having produced over 100 workshop graduates who, according to their parents, have transformed from being shy to confident individuals after completing the program.

PDA allows participants to be exposed in both classroom instruction and multiple media exposures, actual photo shoots, radio interviews, TV appearances, and mall shows. Back in the day, these workshops were held at SM City Cebu Halls. Participants then participated in a series of mall shows, radio and TV guestings, resort pictorials, studio shoots, and final recitals.

WE ARE BACK AFTER 15 YEARS!

After a long hiatus, Art Dynamics Cebu’s (ADC) Personality Development Avenue (PDA) Program is now back! We are calling all kids and teens ages 5 to 19 to enroll for the 4-in-1 program combining workshops in public speaking, modeling, vocal music and dance.

"I am excited to revive the PDA program after 12 years of not offering it because I moved to America,” says ADC Founder Rudynah Entera Capone, fondly called as “Miss D” who now lives in Louisiana, USA.

"I have every intention of transforming shy kids and teens into confident public speakers and performers. We succeeded with it back then, and I’m positive we’re going to achieve our goal again,” adds Miss D, who is a former multi-awarded public speaker and news writer. While in the USA, she had a few stints as a background actress in some of the Hollywood movies filmed in Louisiana such as Revenge of the Bridesmaids, Battleship, Green Lantern, Justice for Natalee Holloway, Deep Water and more. Ms. D also won Best in Talent in the Search for Cebu’s Ambassador and Ambassadress of Trade and Goodwill 2003.
