We succeeded with it back then, and I’m positive we’re going to achieve our goal again."Dynah or Miss D, as fondly called by many, is a former tri-media practitioner from Cebu who now lives in Louisiana, USA. She has 22 years of combined experience in public sector leadership, strategic communications, marketing and program management. She works as a Communications and Innovation Program Manager at the Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. LSU is the state's flagship university.Before immigrating to America in 2009, Dynah had a blossoming career in media and entertainment. She worked as Sun Star Cebu writer (2000-2004), Cebu Visitors and Conventions Bureau project coordinator (2004-2005), a freelance host (2000-2008), event planner, and an entrepreneur. In 2001, she graduated Magna Cum Laude in her bachelor’s degree in Mass Communications (Major in Broadcasting) at the University of San Jose Recoletos. In 2019, she finished her Master of Public Administration (MPA) degree at the Louisiana State University (LSU) with 4.0 GPA and was officially inducted as a member of the Pi Alpha Alpha (PAA), the National Honor Society for Public Affairs and Administration. She is happily married to World History and Civics high school teacher Drew Capone and has an 11-year-old son Enzo.
